Exit your wedding in style by choosing the perfect send-off. There’s no need to go with the typical rice or petals when there are so many other, unique send-off ideas that you can utilize. Surprise your guests with something different to do at your wedding, setting you apart from the rest.
One increasingly popular idea is to have your guests send you off with sparklers. Sparklers make for a beautiful photo opportunity like in the photo below. They also are done at night rather than when the bride and groom exit the ceremony. It adds a different touch to the whole affair and your guests will enjoy the excitement from using sparklers instead of the traditional options on your day.
Bubbles are inexpensive and provide a magical photo opportunity. Your guests will feel like children again while blowing good wishes upon you.
If you’re having a fall wedding you may want a send-off that screams fall. Use the nature that surrounds you by giving each of your guests a package of leaves to shower you with as you exit. It adds gorgeous colors to your photos and reminds everyone that you are having a fall wedding.
Another send-off option is to make wands with ribbons and a rod. Add some bells for a lovely sound. As you pass by your guests will wave the wand, sending good wishes your way.
If you would prefer a more creative send-off then paper airplanes are the way to go. Especially symbolic if you and your partner are travellers, a paper airplane send-off is sure to surprise your guests. They will love the idea and have fun with it.
Be sprinkled with well wishes from your guests. Package sprinkles in a small bag with something on it telling your guests what they are for. If you have a sweet tooth this is the best send-off idea for you.
Light up the night with color by using glowsticks for your send-off. It will make for an interesting picture that adds a creative look to your wedding album.
