#FeatureFriday: Greek Festival Brockton
The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton held their annual Greek Festival from September 15 through September 18 this year. The festival sees approximately 10,000 guests each year.
The event was free for all to enjoy. There were children’s activities, Greek shopping in the marketplace, church tours, live Greek music, Greek dancing demonstrations, raffle prizes and much more!
Of course the main draw at the festival each year is the delicious Greek food. Every year, the festival provides the best for their guests and this year was surely not a disappointment. The festival featured all of the usual favorites including Baked Lamb, Domalthes, Gyros and handmade pastries.
Church members grilled hundreds of pounds of chicken and lamb for guests. An army of volunteers dedicates their time and energy to the festival each year to serve the food each year.
We have had the honor of supplying the event with tents, chairs, and tables for many years. The event took place under our gigantic 60’ x 280’ pole tent to accommodate the large guest count. As in years past, the event was great for the whole family and we couldn’t be any happier to be a part of it year after year.
