#FeatureFriday: Night to Shine
February 10, 2017 will be a night to remember for many people across the globe. People with special needs, ages 14 and older, will be given the opportunity to feel like a star for a day at their very own prom. Thanks to the Tim Tebow Foundation, Night to Shine has been held in churches around the world since 2014. This year the event will be held simultaneously at 375 host churches across fifty states and eleven countries.
The mission of the Tim Tebow Foundation is “to bring faith, hope and love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need.” The foundation sponsors Night to Shine by providing each host church with financial support, an instruction manual, a prom kit including decorations and gifts for the guests and specialized staff guidance.
Night to Shine is an amazing event that celebrates each individual’s uniqueness, providing them with an unforgettable night where they are appreciated and loved. At the beginning of the evening, all Night to Shine guests enter the event on a red carpet greeted by a cheering crowd and paparazzi. After the red carpet, guests are treated to the royal treatment. This includes hair and makeup stations, shoe shining stations, corsages and boutonnieres, a karaoke room and dancing. During the night every one of the Night to Shine guests is crowned prom king or queen.
This year B.C. Tent and Awning Company, Inc. has been provided with the opportunity to be a part of this incredible event at the Gateway Christian Center in Cotuit, Massachusetts. We will be supplying the event with chairs, tables, the red carpet and the dance floor. We cannot wait for this inspiring Night to Shine event. Many unforgettable memories will be made at this event.
If you would like to refer a guest or volunteer for the event, send an email to gatewaynts@yahoo.com. You won’t want to miss the opportunity to be a part of this event. To bring a smile to someone else’s face is an incredible feeling.
