#WeddingWednesday: Light up the Night

#WeddingWednesday: Light Up the Night

If you are having a wedding reception that is surely going to last past sunset, you will need some form of light.  You can add simple, elegant, or colorful lights.  Whatever you envision is possible.  Make your dream wedding a reality that can be seen throughout the event with these lighting ideas.

Uplighting is a very popular lighting choice for weddings.  By adding uplights you can include any color you choose into the lighting of your day.  This is perfect for a tent especially.  Since a tent is a blank canvas you don’t have any awkward building pieces that you want to avoid highlighting.  You’ll be able to place the lights wherever you like to completely immerse your wedding in your color.

Our starry night package is beautiful and elegant.  It also ensures that there is not an area of the tent without at least a subtle lighting.   You’ll feel like your dancing the night away under the stars due to the intricacies of this design.  It is definitely worth it to upgrade to this package.  You will wow your guests with your attention to detail.

If you think the starry night is not for you, there are plenty of other options to choose from.  This wedding incorporates two different lighting options that we have.  As shown in the photo below we have perimeter lighting which includes enough light around the tent to light up your event so everyone can see clearly.  If you feel that you need a little more light, you can add spotlights to the center poles of a pole tent as well.

Paper lanterns are also a great lighting option.  They add a more mystical element to an event and are reminiscent of the Disney princess movie, Tangled.

Candles are always a great lighting element for a wedding.  They are romantic, elegant and subtle.  You can also get a variety of different types of candles from tall candles to votive candles to the increasingly popular floating candles.

If you plan on extending your wedding to the great outdoors, why not light up the greenery that surrounds you?  Hang some lights from the trees, add lighting to the bushes and watch the world light up around you.  This creates a picturesque moment that you won’t want to miss out on.
