#FeatureFriday: A Taste of the Metro South

#FeatureFriday: A Taste of the Metro South

The Metro South Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Taste of the Metro South on Wednesday, March 22nd this year at the Massasoit Community College Conference Center.  It included plenty of food to enjoy, prizes to be won and entertainment to see.

Many local restaurants brought a taste of their dishes for those in attendance to try.  Not Your Average Joe’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Stoneforge Grill, and JJ’s Caffe brought samples of their delicious restaurant specialties.  Just Desserts Bakery, Costco and Montilio’s Bakery brought tasty desserts that all of those with a sweet tooth greatly appreciated.  Even the Brockton Rox, the Mendon Twin Drive-In and the Pawtucket Red Sox joined in on the fun!  The Brockton Rox served peanuts, popcorn and cracker jax, the Mendon Twin Drive-In served popcorn and the Pawtucket Red Sox served hot dogs.  Many other great restaurants served their amazing food at the event.  No attendee left with an empty stomach.

The Brockton High School Jazz Band, the Boxwood Saxophone Quartet, Khakatay, and George Cataldo “The Silver Fox” performed during the Taste of the Metro South.  Rob Peters Entertainment also provided entertainment for guests during the event.  There were also numerous raffles throughout the evening for people to test their luck.  It was a very enjoyable event that never had a dull moment.

We have worked with the Metro South Chamber of Commerce on this event for many years now.  This year, our tables and linens were present at the event.  Also, many of our team members went to the event to enjoy all that the event had to offer.  We love having the opportunity to attend and support our customers’ events.
