#FeatureFriday: Harvest Bash
The Living Word Church will be hosting their annual Harvest Bash on Halloween this year. The event will be held at the Living Word Church at 6 P.M. This event helps to provide a safe environment for the children of Brockton on Halloween night. They are expecting to have 600-1,000 children in attendance this year. The event is said to be “Brockton’s largest candy giveaway.” In addition to candy there will be games, a skit, and live music for all of the children to enjoy. There will even be a sing-a-long with Anna and Elsa from the Disney movie Frozen and a live action Batman vs. Superman skit! Not only will this be a great event for the children but it is also free to attend.
Living Word Church is a volunteer based, non-profit organization that has been in Massachusetts for over thirty-four years and in the City of Brockton for over twenty-four years. Throughout these years they have put on events that benefit the community.
In order to attend the event you must register for it. You can either pre-register here or register at the event itself. Be sure to include your child’s name and age on the registration form so that they will be on the list to receive candy!
This year we are donating a 20’x40’ canopy tent to the event. We love being able to support an event that helps out the community by ensuring that children are not only having fun but also being safe in the process. Putting a smile on a child’s face is one of our most enjoyable experiences. Thank you to Living Word Church for putting on such an impressive, safe, and enjoyable event each and every year!
